I have a Simrad evo3, yes all you need is a 175hw with the Xsonic 9pin end or a mix and match 175 with the Xsonic adapter pigtail. I’m running a 2in1 and an HW on my 12” and a M on my 9” networked together. 2in1 for me vs. the 3in1 as I’m running the 175M and they would interfere, otherwise the exact same set up and it works great.

If I had hydraulic steering in place, I think more options would be available. Trying to modify the engine box space to incorporate a hydraulic unit and rudder control seems to be more work for only really wanting a simple point and steer unit. I do believe the si-tex works through NMEA 0183, so we should have simple functions through lowrance hds.
