1983 CB450SC addendum doesn't show a spring change but oil is 185 +/-2.5 cc's. 1985 CB450SC shows the same as 1983. 1982 CB450T shows the same as the '86 model. 1982 CM450 C/A shows 9.35 and 14.27, 220 cc's of oil. 1982 CM450E has a single spring, wear limit of 18.9" but no spec for new and 135cc's of oil.

Honda Workshop Manual pretty much agrees with HappyG, it says standard fork oil level is 146mm (5.75"), with a service limit of 128 - 164mm (5.04 - 6.46") Fork oil capacity 562cc (19.0 oz) with a service limit of 542 - 582cc (18 - 20 oz) Recommended oils: ATF, Ashland No.10, Spectro SAE 10W, or equivalent.
